The Anchor Inn welcomes you to join us Christmas and New Years Eve. We will be running Christmas lunches, Christmas dinners and a New Years Eve menu .

Roasted winter vegetable soup

With celeriac cream and toasted sourdough 

Duck and orange pate

Served with fig chutney and toasted sourdough 

Smoked salmon and prawn mousse

With lemon and lime infused crème fraiche and melba toast 

Creamy garlic mushroom, mozzarella and cranberry tart

Topped with rocket salad


Mains

(All served with carrots, cauliflower cheese, honey roast parsnips, Brussel sprouts and red cabbage)

On celeriac purée roasted root vegetables, roasted new potatoes and red wine reduction

Slow roasted belly pork

With apple and red onion stuffing, fondant potatoes and cider pork reduction 

Herb crusted wild sea bass fillet

With garlic and herb crushed new potatoes and dill and white wine sauce 

Homemade wild mushroom and feta risotto

Served with toasted pine nuts, Parmesan and balsamic rocket salad
